Germans Shot, Marzuki Request Police Responsibilities

JAKARTA - The violence re-occur in Papua. Dietmar Pieper, German citizens haverushed to General Hospital (Hospital) Doc 2 after being shot in the thigh. The tragedyoccurred at approximately 11:30 CDT.
 
In response to this incident, Speaker of the House Marzuki Alie asked security forces to give special attention to security-related issues in Papua. Marzuki said the police mustfind the perpetrators and ensure a similar incident will not recur.
